TUESDAYS, 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM - Starting April 25 and running through May 30
Improv is not just for aspiring comedians but it is also a great tool for self-discovery and gaining confidence. This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of improvisation.
Each class consists of fun physical and mental exercises, group activities, and basic scene-work which will help students discover the basic foundations of improv. Students will learn how to say, “yes, and…,” support their fellow improvisers, initiate scenes from the top of their intelligence, make positive choices, and commit to the reality of the scene.
Most importantly, this class will create a safe and encouraging environment for those looking to express their creativity in a new way. With each passing week, the students will build confidence as they explore their sense of play.
